At The Paid Online Survey Center, I promote only the highest-paying online survey panels, not those that charge you to join, don't pay, or pay pittance. I compiled my list after signing up with and examining the payout patterns of 164 online survey companies. I could have listed every paid survey panel with a referral program, but unsatisfied readers won't believe any I have to say. I blacklist even those paid survey panels with the most lucrative affiliate programs. To demonstrate my lack of bias, I posted no referral links below!

You'll notice that there aren't many panels on this page. That's because there are only a few worthwhile panels to join! Remember, though, that quality is always better than quantity. Without further ado, I present my list of the best FREE online survey panels. THE WINNING STRATEGY - ONLINE SURVEYS

1. To ensure receipt of every online survey invitation, open a free e-mail account or use an existing e-mail account that is far from reaching storage capacity.
2. To minimize the time wasted completing online sign-up forms, download Roboform, CNET's "Software of the Year," for FREE. Roboform doesn't have spyware, so you can rest assured that your personal information is safe while it does the tedious form-completing for you.
   
3. Sign up with all of the online survey panels on the following list (updated monthly) and take every survey they e-mail you.
4. Give your referral link to as many people possible: friends, coworkers, relatives, acquaintances, etc. Make business cards, put up fliers, and send e-mails (but not spam). You won't just get paid for doing online surveys, but for each sign up and/or for each paid survey your referrals take.

1) Survey Savvy

Survey Savvy surveys are easy to complete and pay cash for each one, ranging from $2 to $4 for 10- to 15-minute online surveys. They have a great referral program that pays $2 for each paid survey completed by a referral and $1 for each paid survey completed by their referrals. If you have a lot of friends, you should join Survey Savvy (and get them to join, of course).

2) Treasure Trooper

Treasure Trooper pays you for taking their daily survey as well as for signing up for offers. The daily survey pays 75 cents each (hey, they add up), but you can also get paid between $5 and $50 for signing up for offers even if you opt out of each one! For instance, you can sign up for an AOL trial, then opt out and get $17.50--it's ethical since you're given the option to opt out of each offer from the start. 3) NFO MySurvey

NFO MySurvey pays points for cash. They give so many paid surveys that members usually reach the required point total for payout rather quickly. I get enough points for a $10 check every three weeks. Couple this with a great referral system, and you will be glad to get a paid survey invitation from them. Join MySurvey here.

4) Opinion Outpost

Opinion Outpost pays points-for-cash as well as MySurvey, but also pays out a lot of points per paid survey. For every paid survey, you get $2-$3 worth of points, and their online surveys take only 5-6 minutes to complete. You won't get any BS sweepstakes entries like you will at some other paid survey panels--just cash for your online survey input. This company has been in business since 1987, so they are legitimate and well-respected, though their website takes a while to load even on a broadband connection. Join Opinion Outpost here.

5) QuizPoints

QuizPoints rewards you with free gift cards in exchange for your points, which you accumulate by completing offers and taking daily paid surveys. The paid surveys aren't e-mailed to you--you have to log-in to take them. However, there's an online survey every day, so you can earn $10 in points every month from paid surveys alone. If you also sign up with a lot of offers and opt out before you have to pay, the rewards add up. I've gotten $10 gift certificates to Amazon.com and Abercrombie & Fitch each within the first month of joining, and my results are not unusual. Join QuizPoints here.

6) Brandport

Brandport is made especially for college students and recent grads. You make money by completing offers (free trial memberships, etc.) and/or by looking at advertisements, and they pay through Paypal, eBay's free payment service. The best strategy is to sign up for the offers and then opt out before you have to pay for full service. College students should take advantage of this while they can! Join Brandport here.

7) Your 2 Cents

Your 2 Cents pays between $1 - $5 a survey, each one taking about 2 minutes to complete. You can input rather detailed profile data to ensure that you get the surveys meant for you. If you don't qualify for the survey, they'll enter you into a drawing or pay you a small amount of money for your efforts.
